New Year's Resolutions

So, as you can see I'm not so great at adhering to my new year's resolutions. For the past two years I keep meaning to revisit this website design. Perhaps the Year of the Dragon will be my website's year! In the meantime, will continue to post here intermitently. I continue to sing with Metropolitan United and am happy to be performing solo with them and members of the Taflemusik baroque orchestra at Music at Met's annual Good Friday concert. Last year I tackled Judas in Handel's Brockes passion (a pitch-hitting performance for a coleague who fell ill). This year, I have a completely PLANNED solo in Bach's Markus Passion, Friday March 29, 2024 at 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $17.00. In-person or streaming options available. Please help support this organization and the good work they do, while being treated to the 2nd ever performance of this work in Canada! 

In other news, I'm freshly back from the ever inspiring annual Dysphagia Research Society's conference, this year in sunny San Juan where my colleagues and I presented on some of our innovative work. But the highest level of kudos is reserved for our team Lead, Catriona Steele who was officially passed the presidential baton!
